Rooted in Strathcona

Locally Made. Locally Grown. Locally Yours.

Experience Strathcona County like never before — homemade pie, farm fresh eggs, hand-made chocolate, and garden-fresh herbs at a time.

Rooted in Strathcona is a week-long series of curated experiences that spotlight the people and places behind your favourite local foods, for Alberta Food Week. Each day features a different farm or small business offering a signature product or service — your daily ticket gives you access to that day’s exclusive experience, alongside a group of up to 30 community-minded participants.

  • 🕒 Each location has set hours and scheduled activities

  • 🎟️ One ticket per day = one local experience + a featured product or service

  • 🌾 Support the local economy in a fun, meaningful way

It’s like a cash mob with a purpose — come meet your neighbours, hear their stories, and discover the passion behind what they grow, make, and serve.

Space is limited. Choose your days, grab your tickets, and get Rooted in Strathcona.
